Former Orlando Pirates midfielder midfielder Augustine Mahlonoko has been given a chance to revive his playing career by Motsepe Foundation Championship club Casric Stars FC.
Mahlonoko made his debut yesterday where Casric won by 2-0 defeating Orbit College FC at the Lucas Masterpieces Moripe stadium.
The 23 year old midfielder was left to fend for a club following the sale of the status of Moroka Swallows to Marumo Gallants at the end of last season.
Mahlonoko was not part of the Moroka Swallows players who transitioned to the Marumo Gallants squad and that led to him being clubless for a while.
The Sebokeng born midfielder was also in the books of Baroka FC, Pretoria Callies and NB La Masia.
Still 23 years of age, Mahlonoko boast about 6 years of professional football experience and hopefully it can help Stars gain automatic promotion to the Betway Premier League.
