Motsepe Foundation Championship debutants Kruger United, Leruma United and Highbury FC have not started life well in the second division.

Kruger United and Highbury came from the ABC Motsepe League after they competed in the final of the National play-offs with Kruger winning and Highbury coming as runners-up.

Leruma United bought their way into the second division after they purchase the vacant status of Marumo Gallants who also have bought their way into the Betway Premier League courtesy of the cash strapped Moroka Swallows.

Highbury are currently 15 on the log with 2 points from 5 league matches. They lost 3 and drew 2 matches out of 5 played.

Leruma follows Kruger in 14th place on the log with 3 points from 5 matches. They won 1 and lost 4 matches out of 5 played.

Kruger are in 11th position with 4 points from 5 matches. They won 1,drew 1 and lost 3 out of 5 matches played.

The last bottom 2 teams are automatically relegated from the league at the end of the season. Will these sides avoid the chop or will 2 be relegated while 1 stays?
