CHIEFS AND SUNDOWNS TO PICK UP THE PIECES IN TODAY'S ENCOUNTERS?

Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns will be looking to bounce back from last weekend's Betway Premier League losses.


Both Chiefs and Sundowns lost with the same 1-0 scoreline at stadiums with the same name which is are the Peter Mokaba stadiums. Chiefs lost 1-0 to Supersport United on Saturday night at the New Peter Mokaba stadium while Sundowns lost 1-0 to Polokwane City on Sunday afternoon at the Old Peter Mokaba stadium.


Amakhosi loss to Supersport United was their second consecutive league loss after losing their previous league encounter 2-1 against Sundowns last month at the FNB stadium. Bafana ba style's loss to Polokwane City was their first this season.


Chiefs will once again return to the New Peter Mokaba stadium tonight for another Betway Premier League encounter against newbies Magesi FC.


Sundowns will be at home against Cape Town City at the Loftus Versfeld stadium tonight.
