SUNDOWNS GETS BACK TO WINNING WAYS WHILE CHIEFS DRAW!

The defending league champions Mamelodi Sundowns got back to winning ways as they thrashed Cape Town City 3-0 earlier on today at the Loftus Versfeld stadium. Sundowns closed the gap between them and Orlando Pirates to 3 points.


Kaizer Chiefs on the other hand came from behind to steal a point after drawing 2-2 with newcomers Magesi FC at the new Peter Mokaba stadium.


In other Betway Premier League fixtures that took place saw Polokwane City claiming their second consecutive league win after they defeated the struggling Royal AM with a single goal at the Harry Gwala stadium.


Lamontville Golden Arrows and Supersport United played to 0-0 draw at the Mpumalanga stadium.
