New Chippa United midfielder Siphelo Baloni who joined the Eastern Cape side on a season long loan from Orlando Pirates bagged his first top flight goal this past Saturday when the Chilli Boys defeated Lamontville Golden Arrows 2-0.

The 25 year old midfielder made his 7th appearance across all competitions since he joined the club. The midfield duo of Andile Jali and Baloni seems to be working perfectly for Kwanele Kopo. As things stands, it's safe to say things are going according to plan for both Baloni and Chippa United.

The Chilli Boys momentarily sits in third place on the Betway Premier League log with 10 points from 6 league matches. Polokwane City are also breathing on Chippa United's neck with 10 points from 5 league matches. City did the unthinkable yesterday when they defeated the defending league champions Mamelodi Sundowns 1-0.
