Manchester United fans and supporters are expecting alot to come from the newly appointed head coach of the club Ruben Amorim.
Amorim came from the high flying Sporting CP club that is flourishing in the Portuguese Primeira Liga. Last season CP won the league and this season they are also en route to defend their title.
Amorim's heroics at CP caught the attention of United as a perfect replacement of Erik Ten Hag who was fired weeks ago.
The former Sporting coach took charge of his first match at United yesterday where the match ended with a 1-1 draw against Ipswich Town. He urged the fans and supporters that the team will have to suffer before it can actually see glory days.
This is part of what Amorim had to say in his post match interview as reported by BBC Sport:
"I know it is frustrating for the fans but we are changing so much in this moment with a lot of games," he said. "We are going to suffer for a long period. We will try to win games but this will take time.
"We have to risk it a little bit [now] and in the next year we will be better [otherwise] next year at the same stage we will be here with the same problems."
