Chelsea won their match day 12 of the English Premier League with a 2-1 scoreline away to league returnees Leicester City earlier on today at the King Power stadium.


The home side Leicester struggle to keep up with quality of Chelsea from the onset of the match with the visitors enjoying more than 80% of the ball possession the whole half.


Nicolas Jackson opened the scoring with a half volley in the 15th minute. Noni Madueke almost made it 2-0 for Chelsea in the 32nd minute but his goal was chopped off due to an offside offence.


Leicester were close to an equalizer in the 38th minute but Ian McAtee's attempt went wide of Robert Sanchez goals. Another chance came through for Wilfred Ndidi 4 minutes later but he also couldn't convert.


Noni Madueke got another chance from a counter attack but he missed again.


The match went to the half time break with Chelsea leading by a 1-0 scoreline.


Chelsea continued with their dominance even in the second half as they had most of the ball possession again. The Blues captain Enzo Fernandez scored the second goal for his club in the 75th minute after heading in from a rebound.


Leicester consoled themselves with a 94th minute penalty goal which Jordan Ayew converted.
