Cape Town City FC midfielder Fortune Makaringe will be out for a while after he sustained an ankle injury, The club confirmed on their social media platforms earlier on today.

The return of Makaringe is unknown as the club did not state the estimated return of the versatile player.

Makaringe has been a pivotal figure for the Citizens since he joined them at the beginning of the season from Orlando Pirates where he played for 4 seasons.

The former Maritzburg United midfielder was part of the marquee signings made by City which included well traveled midfielders Hashim Domingo and Kamohelo Mokotjo.
