R100M FUNDED BAY DROPS TO 16TH WHILE AMAZULU MOVE TO 13TH!

The struggles for Richards Bay FC continued as they lost 3-1 at home to Amazulu FC earlier on today at the Goodwill King Zwelithini stadium. The Natal Rich Boys chairman Jomo Biyela confirmed yesterday that the club parted ways with coach Brandon Truter who took over from coach Vusimuzi Vilakazi who is now a co-coach with Arthur Zwane at Amazulu.

Usuthu got their goals from Rowan Human, Ethan Brooks and Etiosa Ighodaro while Richards Bay got their solitary goal from Yonela Mbuthuma.

Bay now dropped to 16th position in the Betway Premier League log standings having collected only 5 points from 9 leagues matches. Amazulu on the other hand started the day in the 16th place and now find themselves in 13th position with 6 points from 6 leagues matches.

With the R100 million sponsorship Richards Bay FC received from Phakwe Gas before the season kicked off, Many thought the financial backing would yield good results but that doesn't seem to be the case.
