Royal AM President DR Shawn Mkhize has for years been in trouble with the South African Revenue Services due to unpaid taxes.
At the start of this week, The South African Police Services and The South African Revenue Services raided the businesswoman's mega mansion in La Lucia. Luxurious cars were taken away from her by the authorities after the raid.
It has been reported that DR Mkhize owes over R30million of unpaid taxes.
Another problem she is facing is the one of Samir Nurković who is owed R12m which has now increased to R15m due to interests. Nurković's lawyer has been pushing the Premier Soccer League to try and get them to use Royal AM PSL grant money to pay the debt.
Royal AM are already struggling to keep up in the league, They find themselves 11th on the log with 7 points from 8 league matches. Will the off field issues affect the wellbeing of the club?
Thwihli Thwahla will play away to Kaizer Chiefs tonight at the new Peter Mokaba stadium.
