Since not being in coach Enzo Maresca's solid plans, Former Paris Saint-Germain and RB Leipzig striker Christopher Nkunku finds himself being used mostly as a back up striker for the Chelsea team.

The French international has chipped in a few goals this season which saw him scoring 12, Assisting 4 in 25 appearances across all competitions.

Rumours have now emerged that Barcelona are preparing an offer for Nkunku in the upcoming January transfer window as they are planning on parting ways with Lewandoski maybe come the end of the season.

Chelsea forked out €60m last year July to land the services of the 27 year old. Nkunku still has more than 4 seasons left on his Chelsea contract and anyone looking to sway him away from the English Premier League club will have to pay a hefty amount of money.
