Former Orlando Pirates and Highlands Park head coach Owen Da Gama is rumoured to be close to joining this season's Carling Knockout Cup champions Magesi FC.

Magesi FC were forced to look for a new head coach after Clinton Larsen dumped them this previous weekend after loosing 3-0 against Carling All Star team in the Carling Knockout Cup Exhibition match.

Currently Magesi have ropped in Papi Zothwane as the interim coach from being an assistant coach.

Should Da Gama join the Limpopo club he won't have to travel a lot of kilometers as he is currently coaching a Limpopo based ABC Motsepe League club Vondwe Bullets XI.
