News have emerged that Richards Bay FC have released striker Thabang Sibanyoni and might also let midfielder Siyethemba Sithebe go.
The struggling KZN based club has had a poor start to the season even after making a number of signing with Sibanyoni and Sithebe being among this season's signings. Sibanyoni's release comes after he was not able to live up to the expectations of the club having not even scored a single goal in his 9 appearances while Sithebe has played 8 games and also didn't chip in any goal or assist.
The R100 million Phakwe Gas sponsorship seem to also be heading down the drain for Richards Bay FC as they still find themselves flirting in the relegation zone occupying 15th spot with 8 points from 11 leagues matches.
