Having being given a slight opportunity to play by the previous Mamelodi Sundowns first team coaches (Rhulani Mokwena and Manqoba Mngqithi) Zuko Mdunyelwa is finding it hard to earn a solid starting place in the Miguel Cardoso's squad.

Mdunyelwa had a few chances to play when there was still coach Rhulani Mokwena who is now the coach of Wydad Casablanca and Manqoba Mngqithi who has now departed the club after he was let by the Pretoria club.

Bafana Bafana internationals Thapelo Morena and Khuliso Mudau have being vastly used in the right back position and their pace has added another layer of advantage which makes Mdunyelwa falls back in line.

Rumours have now emerged that Sundowns are planning to send the 25 year old defender on loan in the upcoming transfer window.
