SUNDOWNS SET TO TERMINATE MIDFIELDER'S CONTRACT!

With the high competition in the Mamelodi Sundowns midfield position, Erwin Saavedra is set to be put on the sword as the club is looking to offload him in the upcoming January transfer.

The South American player has had a stiff competition in the midfield as the champions have high profile players like Themba Zwane, Teboho Mokoena, Siphelele Mkhulise, Marcelo Allende, Lebohang Maboe, Bathusi Aubaas, Thembinkosi Lorch and Neo Maema all competing for a starting place.

Saavedra's loan move at Bolivar La Paz expires today and he seem to no longer be in the plans of Downs as they preparing to let him go. He has only played 13 games without scoring or providing an assist since he joined Bafana ba style in February 2022.
