Greek Super Lig side Olympiacos FC has confirmed the departure of former Chelsea and Fulham winger Willian Borges da Silva.


The 36 year old winger leaves the club in less than 5 months after he had signed a season deal which was scheduled to expire next year June but both parties decided to part ways early on mutual agreement.


Below is short statement released by the Greek side on their social media platforms yesterday:


"Olympiacos FC wishes Willian all the best for the rest of his great career. He will always have a family in Piraeus. Olympiacos FC wishes all the best to Willian in the next steps of his massive career. He will always have a family in Piraeus."
