Last night, FC Barcelona dismantled Valencia CF in a Spanish LaLiga encounter where the Catalan giants won by 7 goals to 1 and narrowed the gap between themselves, Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid.

Fermin Lopez scored a hat-trick, Raphina, Frankie de Jong, Robert Lewandoski and Ferran Torres scored 1 goal each and the 7th goal was an own goal from Cesar Tarrega. Valencia got 1 goal back through Hugo Duro.

The Hansi Flick side is now 3 points behind second place Atletico Madrid and 7 points behind first place Real Madrid after 21 matches.

Valencia remained in 19th place with 16 points after 21 matches and surely have to dig deeper to get themselves out of the relegation zone.
