BORUSSIA DORTMUND WELCOMES NEW HEAD COACH!

Borussia Dortmund has appointed former Croatian national team and Bayern Munich head coach Niko Kovac. The 53 year old coach penned a deal that will keep him at the club until June next year.

Dortmund had been without a coach for more than a week since firing Nuri Sahin.

"The BVB has re-occupied the position of head coach. Niko Kovac will take over the team next Sunday - a day after the Bundesliga game in Heidenheim. The Berlin-born signs a contract with BVB until the 30th. June 2026." Dortmund wrote on their social media platforms earlier on today.

Kovac brings his brother and former BVB professional Robert Kovac as well as Filip Tapalovic as co-trainer to BVB. Dortmund concluded.
