Last night all 36 teams participating in this season's UEFA Europa League learnt their fate. 8 teams automatically qualified for the tournament's round of 16 while 16 teams will have to lock horns against each other to secure places in the round of 16. 12 teams were automatically relegated from the tournament yesterday and some days or weeks before yesterday.

*8 automatically qualified teams: Lazio, Athletic Club, Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspurs, Eintracht Frankfurt, Lyon, Olympiacos and Rangers.

*16 play-off spots teams: Bodo/Glimt, Anderlecht, FCSB, Ajax, Real Sociedad, Galatasaray, Roma, Viktoria Plzeň, Ferencvaros, Porto, AZ Alkmaar, Midtjylland, Union Saint-Gilloise, PAOK, FC Twente and Fenerbahçe.

*Eliminated teams: Braga, IF Elfsborg, Hoffenheim, Beşiktaş, Maccabi Tel Aviv, Slavia Praha, Malmo, RFS, Ludogorets, Dynamo Kyiv, OG Nice and Qarabag FK.
