AL-OROBAH STANDS IN THE WAY OF AL-NASSR OF CLOSING DOWN LEAGUE GAP!
Al-Nassr were denied 3 points and a chance to close down the gap in the Saudi Pro League as they were defeated 2-1 away from home by Al-Orobah yesterday the Al Jouf University stadium.
Orobah got their first ever win against Nassr in the club's history, All the previous encounters saw Al-Nassr winning all 4 of them.
The home side's goals came from Omar Al Somah and Johann Berg Gudmundsson with the away side's goal coming from Nawaf Boushal.
Al-Nassr are in third place with 47 points after match day 23 level on points with Al-Hilal who lost 3-2 to Al-Ahli last night. Al-Ittihad are still ahead with 56 points with a game in hand. Al-Orobah moved from 13th place to 11th with 26 points after match day 23 due to their win against Al-Nassr.
