STELLENBOSCH AND POLOKWANE CITY SHARE THE SPOILS!

Gunning to finish the season in CAF Interclub competition spot for the second time in their history, Stellenbosch FC edged a step closer to that feat after securing a single point gainst Polokwane City where the match ended with a 1-1 draw at the Danie Craven stadium today.

Ashley Cupido once again found the back of the net for Stellies while Bonginkosi Dlamini got the goal for City.

Last season Stellies narrowly missed out on a CAF Champions League spot after they finished a place behind Orlando Pirates due to goal difference.

Stellies have already done well this season. They played the MTN8 final which they unfortunately lost 3-1 to Orlando Pirates, Secured a quarterfinal spot in the CAF Confederations Cup.

Can they secure back to back Interclub competition spots come the end of the season?
