Orlando Pirates are spoiled for choice when it comes to the midfield position. 'Ezikamaghebhula' has Thalente Mbatha, Makhehlene Makhaula, Kabelo Dlamini, Selaelo Rasebotja, Miguel Timm, Ndabayithethwa Ndlondlo and Karim Kimviudi all fighting to be in the match day squad.

Midfielder Azola Tshobeni who recently returned from a 3 season long loan from Motsepe Foundation Championship side JDR Stars is having a tough time breaking into the squad.

With the Pirates midfield being congested, Tshobeni runs a risks of being let go by the club comes the end of the season or maybe be sent out on loan.

Since the season started, Tshobeni has only managed just 3 appearances across all competitions.
