It looks like the Motsepe Foundation Championship relegation battle will be going down to the wire (towards the last few matches of the season)

The bottom three teams which is Cape Town Spurs, Venda FC and Leruma United are skating on thin ice having only collected 16 points after match day 19 respectively.

The relegation battle was intensified by Leruma United who won their encounter yesterday 1-0 away from home against Upington City to keep themselves level on points with Spurs and Venda.

At the top of the table, Its getting tough with Durban City FC, Orbit College FC and JDR Stars the forerunners to clinch automatic promotion. Casric Stars, Milford FC and Baroka are also not out of the automatic promotion race.
