ANTOINE GRIEZMAN OVERTAKES MESSI TO SET A NEW RECORD!






Since Lionel Messi departed the Spanish LaLiga for the French Ligue and then the Major League Soccer, His record for the most LaLiga appearances by a foreign player had stood since 2021 but was broken by his former teammate Antoine Griezman yesterday.


Messi's record was at 520 LaLiga games by a foreign player which

Antoine Griezmann has now surpassed with a single game more after he appeared for the 521st time in Atletico Madrid's 1-1 draw against Espanyol.


Setting that new record, Griezman has also been rumoured be heading to the Major League Soccer to join his countryman Olivier Giroud at Los Angeles FC in the upcoming season.
