CRISTIAN ROMERO ATTRACTS SPANISH GIANTS!

A Spanish LaLiga move might be on the cards for Tottenham Hotspur defender Cristian Romero as it's reported that Atletico Madrid are keen on adding him to their squad according to Sky Sports.

The 26 year old was bought with a hefty €52M transfer fee from Italian Serie-A club Atalanta in 2022 and has gone to make 115 appearances for Spurs across all competitions.

Romero doesn't have a release clause on his Spurs contract however, The English Premier League club wouldn't want to let him go on with a fee less than the one they paid for Romero's service from Atalanta.

The Argentine defender still has over 2 years left on his Tottenham contract as his deal end in June 2027.
