FORMER NIGERIAN INTERNATIONAL SET TO PURCHASE ENGLISH CLUB!

Victor Anichebe, A former Everton and AFC Sunderland striker is reported to be closed to being named the new owner of English Nation League (5th tier football) club Gateshead FC after agreeing the takeover from Neil Pinkerton.

The club is doing well as they won the FA Trophy last season and are in 6th position of the National League table but 18 points behind log leaders Barnet.

The fans and supporters of Gateshead will be hoping that the new ownership of the club will help steer them to greater heights.
