MARCUS RASHFORD OPENS HIS ASTON VILLA ACCOUNT IN FA CUP WIN AGAINST PRESTON!
Manchester United loanee Marcus Rashford opened his goal scoring tally for Aston Villa in the FA Cup quarterfinal where the English Premier League side hammered EFL Championship side Preston North End 3-0 today at the Deepdale stadium.
The 27 year old Manchester United striker scored an open play goal in the 58th minute then a penalty in the 63rd minute. Jacob Ramsey scored the final goal for the Unai Emery side to seal their semifinal spot.
So far the teams that have made their way to the semifinals of the English FA Cup are Nottingham Forest, Crystal Palace and Aston Villa.
Villa will now face Crystal Palace while Nottingham Forest will have to await the winner between Bournemouth and Manchester City who lock horns shortly.
