IS THE DOOR OPEN FOR RHULANI MOKWENA TO MAKE A PIRATES RETURN?

Orlando Pirates current head Jose Riveiro will be leaving the Soweto giants in June this year after he decided against renewing his contract. The Spanish mentor is on 5 trophies currently and might leave the club having collected 8 trophies as he is in line to add the another Nedbank Cup, The CAF Champions League and the Betway Premier League.

Now with Riveiro leaving, The head coach position will be vacant and a quality coach will be needed to filled the void. A few good names have been suggested for the Pirates hotseat. The likes of Pitso Mosimane and Mangqoba Mngqithi have been thrown in the mix.

Rhulani Mokwena who will be leaving Moroccan giants Wydad Athletic Club soon after him and the club agreed to part ways will be available also at the end of the season.

Will Pirates snatch Mokwena back to the helm? Mokwena was at Pirates for three season being Mulitin Sredojevič assistant for two seasons before taking over as the head coach in the third season.
