LEICESTER MAKE UNWANTED PREMIER LEAGUE HISTORY!

Two bottom sided English Premier League teams team made unwanted histories in two consecutive days. On Sunday afternoon Southampton got relegated from the English Premier League after registering a 3-1 loss to Tottenham Hotspur. The Saints made history by becoming the earliest team to be relegated from the English first tier.

Yesterday Leicester City FC followed suit and made an unwanted Premier League history by becoming the first side in football league history to lose eight consecutive home league games without scoring a goal in their 3-0 loss at home against Newcastle United.

Unlike Southampton, Leicester still have a chance of saving their top flight status with the 7 games left to play for.
