THEMBA ZWANE EXTENDS HIS STAY AT SUNDOWNS!
Mamelodi Sundowns have rewarded their captain Themba Zwane with a new contract that will see him being at Chloorkop until June next year.
The veteran midfielder was set to have his contract expire in June this year but Masandawana still value his services regardless of his age. Zwane is currently 35 years old and will turn 36 at the beginning of the following campaign.
The Tembisa born midfielder has only played 5 matches after he was out nursing an injury that kept him out since last year October. He was injured while on national team duty and hasn't played a competitive match ever since.
Zwane will be very instrumental for Downs heading into the CAF Champions League semifinal encounter against the defending champions Al-Ahly tomorrow at the Loftus Versfield stadium for the first leg. Downs also have the Betway Premier League to wrap and the big FIFA Club World Cup in June.
