GEORGE MATLOU SHOWN THE DOOR BY CHIEFS!





Kaizer Chiefs will allow former Moroka Swallows midfielder George Matlou to leave as his deal expiring next month won't be renewed, IDiskiTimes reported.


The 26-year-old midfielder struggled to make an impact since joining Chiefs from Moroka Swallows in 2022, with injuries also playing a role in his tenure at Amakhosi.


Despite helping the Soweto giants end their trophy drought by beating their arch-rivals Orlando Pirates in the Nedbank Cup final this month, Matlou will be let go by Chiefs.


In three full seasons, Matlou played 40 games with just 3 assists across all competitions for Amakhosi.
