REAL MADRID IN THE MIX FOR THE SERVICES OF WIRTZ!
Spanish LaLiga giants Real Madrid have joined English Premier League sides Liverpool, Manchester City, and Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich in the race to sign Bayer Leverkusen attacking midfielder Florian Wirtz ahead of the new season.
Real Madrid coach Xabi Alonso, who coached Bayer Leverkusen for the past three seasons, is looking to reunite with Wirtz at Madrid, but the stumbling block might be the €150M Leverkusen are rumored to be seeking.
Wirtz's former teammate Jonathan Tah completed a move to Bayer Leverkusen's crosstown rivals Bayern Munich yesterday on a free transfer. Tah signed a four-year deal with the reigning Bundesliga champions.
Madrid have already made their first signing, with Dean Huijsen joining AFC Bournemouth.
