RICHARDS BAY INTERESTED IN FORMER SWALLOWS PLAYERS!
Richards Bay FC are reported to be moving towards making their first marquee signings of the 2025/26 season, with them rumored to be closing in on former Moroka Swallows duo Gabadinho Mhango and Lindokuhle Mtshali.
The players are out of contract next month, with Mhango leaving Marumo Gallants while Mtshali departs Sekhukhune United. Malawian international Gabadinho Mhango leaves Gallants on a bad note, as it's also reported that he and the Bloemfontein-based club are in a legal battle over owed image rights monies amounting to over R800k.
Mtshali and Mhango joined their respective sides (Gallants and Sekhukhune) at the start of the 2024/25 season after Swallows were sold to Gallants but signed one-year contracts each.
Richards Bay have already tightened their squad, offering Yanela Mbuthuma, Ntlonelo Bomelo, Thulani Gumede, Wandile Ngema, and Lindokuhle Zikhali contracts that will run until June 2030.
