SABELO RADEBE LEAVES KAIZER CHIEFS!
Kaizer Chiefs became the second Betway Premier League team to part ways with a player today after their arch-rivals Orlando Pirates also parted ways with two players this morning.
Pirates parted ways with midfielder Miguel Timm and defender Innocent Maela as their contracts are expiring next month.
Amakhosi on the other made a bit of space in the midfield parting ways with Sabelo Radebe whose deal is also expiring next month.
The statement released by Kaizer Chiefs earlier on today on their website announcing the departure of Sabelo Radebe is written as follows:
"Kaizer Chiefs have officially parted ways with attacking midfielder, Sabelo “Bibo” Radebe."
"Radebe, now 25, joined Amakhosi as a teenager and progressed through the junior ranks in the Kaizer Chiefs Youth Development Academy before moving up to the reserve team in the 2017/18 season."
"He signed after earning a spot in the senior team in the 2020/21 season, following an impressive performance in the DStv Diski Challenge."
"Last season, he had a one year loan spell at KwaZulu-Natal based, Richards Bay FC."
"We wish “Bibo” all the best in his future endeavours."
