THABO SEPTEMBER PACKING HIS BAGS AT CHIPPA UNITED!

Chippa United will have to shop around for a new coach as it has been reported by iDiskiTimes that the Eastern Cape side's head coach Thabo September will leave the club as his contract is expiring next month.

September was going to be demoted to the club's DSTV Diski Challenge side after failing to qualify for the MTN8, but the former Supersport United captain declined the offer. The Chilli Boys finished 11th with 31 points after match day 28.

September had taken the reins since December last year while being assisted by former Amazulu and Lamontville Golden Arrows coach Mabhuti Khanyeza. Morgan Mammila returned earlier this year as the club's first technical director.

iDiskiTimes suggests that Khanyeza might take the reins as the club's new head coach in the upcoming season, with Mammila being his assistant.
