ALVARO MORATA AGREES TO A MOVE TO SERIE-A NEWBIES!
AC Milan striker Álvaro Morata has agreed to complete a move to Italian Serie-A newbies Como 1907 ahead of the new season as talks are underway for return to Italy pre-maturely from his loan move from Turkish side Galatasaray.
Morata signed for AC Milan in July last year from Spanish side Atletico Madrid on a €13M transfer and signed a four year deal with the Italian club. He struggled for game time at Milan which saw him completing a loan move in February to Galatasaray after the Turkish club paid €6M for his services.
Milan and Galatasaray are already in talks on exit conditions as Morata has already accepted a move to Como and won't be seeing his loan move expire next year.
Morata's loan deal at Galatasaray has the following purchase options according to Transfermarkt:
By January 15, 2026, Galatasaray can buy Morata for €8 million. If the option is not used, The loan can be extended until June 30, 2026. In that case, Morata will receive an additional €3 million in salary. By June 10, 2026, Galatasaray holds a second purchase option for €9 million.
