BURNLEY SCOOPS AXEL TUANZEBE ON A FREE TRANSFER!

Burnley FC have continued to strengthen their squad following their return to the English Premier League at the end of last season.

Burnley finished in second place of the EFL Championship with 100 points which was equal with first place Leeds United. Both Leeds and Burnley were joined by Sunderland AFC who climbed to the Premier League after winning the promotional play-offs.

The Clarets scooped defender Axel Tuanzebe who will have his contract expire at the relegated Ipswich Town FC next week. Tuanzebe joined full-back Quilindschy Hartman who also joined from Feyenoord.

"Burnley Football Club are pleased to confirm the signing of defender Axel Tuanzebe, who will join the Club upon expiry of his contract at Ipswich Town on July 1st." Wrote Burnley.
