CHIEFS LOOKING TO SIGN THEIR FORMER PLAYER BACK FROM NFD SIDE!

The Premier Soccer League promotional/relegation play-offs has teams on their feet looking if they will sign some of the players involved in the mini tournament. 


Betway Premier League side Cape Town City and two Motsepe Foundation Championship sides Orbit College FC and Casric Stars FC are the 3 teams participating in this tournament. Some clubs in the Betway Premier League will be looking to sign the likes of Jaedin Rhodes, Liphumlo Sifumba, Nathan Fasika, Fortune Makaringe, Emile Witbooi, Kayden Francis, Shakeel April, Jody Lee Ah-Shene and Thabo Nodada should the Citizens get relegated.


On the other sides of the Championship, Orbit College FC goalkeeper Sekhoane Moerane has been on the radar of some Betway Premier League sides for a while. 


Casric Stars have a whole lot of players who are on the radar of most Betway Premier League side. The likes Medupi Thokolo, Abby Seseane, Thabang Rakwena and Decide Chauke are some of the players that have impressed most teams in the top flight. 


Who is the player Kaizer Chiefs is looking to sign back?


Midfielder Lebohang Lesako might make his way back to Kaizer Chiefs where made a name for himself in the professional ranks starting from their development. Lesako played for Chiefs reserve side in 2019 before being promoted to the senior team in 2020. He played just 6 games across all competitions in his debut season before being loaned out to Uthongathi in 2021 and Moroka Swallows in 2022. He got released by Chiefs in 2023 giving him an opportunity to join Casric on a free transfer.

Casric Stars might cash in on the sale of Lebohang Lesako having signed him on a free transfer in 2023.
