JOAO PEDRO JOINS CHELSEA ON A £50M TRANSFER!

Chelsea have wrapped up the signing of striker João Pedro from Brighton and Hove Albion ahead of the new season. The transfer fee Chelsea have agreed to pay are in excess of £50m for João to join from Brighton and the Blues decided to hand the Brazilian a contract that will run until June 2032.

João Pedro will undergo his medicals on Tuesday in Brazil then travel to the United States of America to join Chelsea for the FIFA Club World Cup. The Blues have already Advanced to the quarterfinals of the tournament after beating Portuguese side Benfica 4-1 in the round of 16 to set a date with Palmeiras who knocked out their neighbors Botofogo after their match ended 1-0.

The 23-year old Pedro joins Liam Delap, Dario Essugo and Jamie Bynoe-Gittens who have already been signed by the Enzo Maresca side.
