OLIVIER GIROUD RELEASED BY LAFC!
Major League Soccer club Los Angeles FC and former Chelsea, Arsenal and AC Milan striker Olivier Giroud have decided to part ways prematurely. Giroud joined the American side in July last year on a free transfer after his contract at AC Milan expired and was supposed to be with LAFC until December this year.
The former French international struggled for game time at the MLS side which saw him playing just 18 matches across all competitions so far which is the contributing factor for his departure.
Giroud will play his final match with LAFC tomorrow, June 29, when the Black & Gold take on Vancouver at BMO Stadium at 6:30 pm PT.
The 38-year old's next destination points in the French Ligue 1 where it's reported that he has accepted a 1-year deal with LOSC Lille.
