OWEN GA GAMA'S NEXT DESTINATION?

It has been rumoured that Magesi FC and their head Owen Da Gama have mutually agreed to part ways as both parties were unable to reach an agreement on new terms ahead of the new season.

Magesi were ditched by their former coach Clinton Larsen last year after delivering the team to the top flight for the first team in their history and won a major trophy in their history and debut season after beating Mamelodi Sundowns 2-1 in the Carling Cup final.

The departure of Larsen saw Magesi being led by now assistant coach of Richards Bay FC Papi Zothwane for while until Da Gama arrived.

Da Gama joined Magesi this year from ABC Motsepe League side Vondwe Bullets XI and managed to save the Limpopo side from relegation.

Since he (Da Gama) and Magesi could not agree on a new contract extension, The 63-year old is rumoured to be ron his way to join newly promoted club Durban City FC.
