SUNDOWNS ELIMINATED FROM THE CLUB WORLD CUP!

Betway Premier League champions Mamelodi Sundowns got eliminated from the FIFA Club World Cup after playing a 0-0 draw in their final match of the group stage against Brazilian Serie-A side Fluminense last night at the Hard Rock stadium.

Borussia Dortmund and Fluminense progressed as they finished first and second place. Dortmund finished first with 7 points after their victory against South Korean side Ulsan HD while Fluminense finish the group in second with 5 points.

Sundowns finished in third with 4 points while Ulsan did not manage to collect any points.

All African teams Mamelodi Sundowns, Al-Ahly, Wydad Athletic Club and Esperance de Tunis have all been eliminated from the tournament.
