CHIPPA ASSESSING FORMER CHIEFS DEFENDER!

Former Moroka Swallows and Kaizer Chiefs defender Njabulo Ngcobo is rumoured to be training with Eastern Cape Betway Premier League side Chippa United as he hopes to earn himself a contract.

Ngcobo recently parted ways with Sekhukhune United where he joined at the beginning of last season on a free transfer from Kaizer Chiefs but the former defender of the season failed to secure regular playing time with Babina Noko.

Chippa made mass players clearance last month parting ways with 18 first team players. They've been reported to have already signed Orlando Pirates trio Azola Tshobeni, Goodman Mosele, Ndabayithethwa Ndlondlo and former Cape Town Spurs defender Khaya Mfecane.

Before heading to Chippa, Ngcobo was rumoured to be close to joining newly promoted Durban City FC but indications are that the deal failed to materialize as he trains with Chippa currently.
