EMERSON ROYAL SIGNS FOR FLAMENGO!

Brazilian Serie-A club CR Flamengo has completed the signing of former Barcelona and Tottenham Hotspur defender Emerson Royal on a 3-year deal from Italian Serie-A side AC Milan.

The 26-year old departed Milan after spending 1 season with them having joined on a €15M transfer from Spurs. His appearances stands at 26 with no goal contributions.

Flamengo forked out €9M from the chunk of money they made from the FIFA Club World Cup as they agreed to pay Milan that figure for them to allow Royal to return to his home country.

Flamengo are also in the process of signing Gabriel Jesus from Arsenal but talks between both clubs are still ongoing.
