Yesterday, Nottingham Forest announced that their star midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White has signed a new contract extension at the club until June 2028.
The new contract extension meant Gibbs-White will take a new pay hike jumping from third to being the highest paid player at Forest leapfrogging Chris Wood and Nikola Milenkovic.
Milenkovic was the highest paid player at Forest with a weekly salary of £113K followed by Wood with £97K and Gibbs-White then with £86K before his contract extension yesterday.
Gibbs-White has been a top transfer target for teams in the English Premier League and across the globe. Tottenham, Liverpool, Newcastle United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester City were rumoured to be eyeing him.
