NEWCASTLE UNITED APPOINTS A NEW TECHNICAL DIRECTOR!

Heading into the new season and set to play in the UEFA Champions League, Newcastle United haven't been focusing on signing players only, The English Premier League club also made technical team changes as they've welcomed Sudarshan Gopaladesikan as their Technical Director.

The 33-year Gopaladesikan joins from Italian Serie-A side Atalanta BC where he has served as Director of Football Intelligence.

"We have appointed Sudarshan Gopaladesikan as our new Technical Director." Wrote Newcastle United on the social media platforms yesterday.

"Sudarshan joins after leaving Atalanta, where he was Director of Football Intelligence, and will lead football data operations for our men’s, women’s and Academy teams." Their statement continued

"Welcome to Newcastle United, Suds!" Closed their statement.
