REAL MADRID ANNOUNCE THE DEPARTURE OF RODRIGUEZ!

Yesterday, Real Madrid C.F announced that their striker Alvaro Rodriguez has joined fellow league mates Elche on a €2M permanent transfer.

Madrid saw it fit to release the youngster having a lot of high quality attacking players like Kylian Mbappe, Vinicius Junior, Rodrygo Goes and Philippe Endrick being in the mix.

Below is the full statement released by Real Madrid yesterday on their website announcing the departure of Rodriguez:

"Real Madrid C. F. and Elche C. F. have reached an agreement for the transfer of our player Álvaro Rodríguez."

"Álvaro Rodríguez arrived at Real Madrid in 2020 at 16 years of age, and played for the club's youth teams, working his way up to Castilla, where he spent three seasons. He made his Real Madrid first-team debut in 2023. He then played the last campaign on loan at Getafe C. F."

"Our club thanks him for his work, commitment and dedication during his time at Real Madrid, and wishes he and all his family the very best in this new chapter of his life."
