CAPE TOWN CITY SIGN SIFISO NGOBENI FROM MAMELODI SUNDOWNS!

Motsepe Foundation Championship side Cape Town City FC have bolstered their defense with the acquisition of former Bloemfontein Celtic and Mamelodi Sundowns left-back Sifiso Ngobeni.

Ngobeni joins on a free transfer after he was released by Mamelodi Sundowns last month following the expiry of his contract. Having initially signed a 5-year deal with downs when he joined, The 28-year old spent the past 3 seasons on loan which was at the now-defunct Supersport United and Amazulu.

Ngobeni is the second signing made by the Citizens after they also announced former Ajax Amsterdam goalkeeper Mickey Van Der Hart yesterday.

Former Moroka Swallows, Kaizer Chiefs and Sekhukhune United defender Njabulo Ngcobo is also rumoured to be training with City hoping to earn himself a contract.
