ROMA GETS LEON BAILEY ON LOAN!

AS Roma have reached an agreement with Aston Villa for the services of winger Leon Bailey who will initially join on a season-long loan.

The initial season-long loan contains a loan fee of £1.7m. The agreement also contains the option to buy the winger for around £19m (€22m) when the 2025/26 season concludes.

Bailey has been with Villa since the start of the 2021/22 season joining on a €32M transfer from Bayer Leverkusen. He went on to make 144 appearances accompanied by 22 goals and 24 assists across all competitions for Villa.

Before getting Bailey, Roma were also linked with Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho but the deal failed to materialize due to Sancho's £250k per week salary demands.
