PIRATES BOW OUT OF THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE AFTER BEING THRASHED BY PYRAMIDS!
Orlando Pirates crashed out of the CAF Champions League after losing 3-2 against Pyramids FC earlier on today at the 30 June stadium.
The Buccaneers led the game twice but the home side came back from behind to make their own history. The Egyptian side have made it to the final of the tournament in their debut season.
Pyramids will meet Mamelodi Sundowns in the final who defeated Al-Ahly earlier on today at the Cairo International stadium where their match ended with 1-1 draw but Downs progressed via the away goal rule.
Sundowns will be looking to make history by becoming the first South African side to win the Champions League twice while Pyramids will be looking to make their own little history by winning it for the first time in their existence.
